Immigration laws in the United State do not allow Amerasians from the Philippines to be recognized as U.S. citizens unless their birth father knew about them before they turned 18.  Most Filipino Amerasians do not know who their birth father is, but commercial DNA testing allows Father Founded to change that.  The Amerasian Homecoming Act DOES NOT include Amerasians from the Philippines or Japan.  As Father Founded connects Filipino Amerasians with their birth fathers and his family, we ask that they support bi-partisan legislation that is submitted to Congress.  The Uniting Families Act would amend current immigration rules, allowing families to be united.  To find out more about the Uniting Families Act and it's status visit www.congress.gov and follow the Father Founded Facebook page.
